KidSuper and Bape are back together, and this time they’re going all in. With the 2026 World Cup on the horizon, the two brands have cooked up one of the most ambitious sneaker projects tied to the tournament: a dedicated colorway of the Bape Sta for every single nation that qualified.
All 48 of them.
While most collabs zero in on a handful of big football nations, KidSuper and Bape are going wide, building out a full visual universe around the tournament co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The concept is straightforward but massive in scope: one exclusive Bape Sta per country, each one designed to reflect that nation’s football identity through color, material, and cultural references.
To help bring the project to life, the two brands brought in SneakerDenn, a London-based collector and archivist widely respected in the Bape Sta community. He was involved from the early stages and ultimately designed six colorways himself, each one referencing a different country: France, Japan, Sweden, Australia, South Korea, and Uruguay. Rather than leaning on flag colors alone, SneakerDenn pulled from the actual jersey history of each team — the kits that left a mark.
The France colorway, for instance, leans into the classic Bleus palette with gold accents that nod to the team’s most iconic eras. For SneakerDenn personally, the collab represents a shift — from documenting and preserving the history of the Bape Sta to actively contributing to it.
An initial drop of ten colorways goes live on June 11 at KidSuper and select Bape stores, priced at €350 per pair. A pre-order covering all 48 colorways is also on the way for anyone looking to rep their country.
