Travis Scott has added a new title to his growing list of creative ventures: Chief Visionary at Oakley. According to the eyewear brand, he’s the first-ever collaborator to hold the position, making this a pretty significant move for both sides.
This partnership has been a while coming. Scott has been rocking Oakley for a minute, most visibly throughout his Circus Maximus tour, so the official link-up feels like a natural progression rather than just another celebrity deal.
In his new role, Scott and his Cactus Jack crew will be handling the creative direction of Oakley’s eyewear, apparel, and culture-driven projects. That means digging into the brand’s archives to reimagine classic styles, as well as developing brand-new experimental pieces that push things in a fresh direction. It’s a full creative partnership, not just a one-off drop.
To mark the beginning of the collaboration, a limited Day Zero capsule is already live over at shop.travisscott.com. The three-piece release includes a t-shirt, hoodie, and a poster pack, all hinting at what’s to come from the partnership.
