Yeat is one of the freshest voices in rap today, and he’s gearing up with a new album titled ADL (short for A Dangerous Lyfe). While there’s no official release date yet, fans can dive into new music with “Made It On Our Own,” a collaboration with Liverpool rapper EsDeeKid.
In a visually striking video helmed by Director X, the dynamic duo takes over Drake‘s Toronto home. The clip features cameos from Caleb Williams and Cole Bennett, while Drake makes a subtle appearance toward the end—bringing in a blend of star power.
When Yeat was asked about ADL in a recent interview, he revealed, “It’s new. I’m always pushing boundaries and always setting the wave on how I want things to sound. I’m never afraid to step out of my comfort zone and explore different sounds. You can’t even pin it down. It’s just good music.” He explained the album title’s origin, “After I made Lyfestyle, I was reflecting on my life. It felt dangerous, and that became the theme.”
Excitedly hinting about the upcoming project, Yeat shared, “This next album is really something. The sound is changing. It’s going to be a crazy, crazy album.”
