AMIRI has teamed up once more with Maison Mihara Yasuhiro to drop the second chapter of their exclusive sneaker collab. This time, they’ve unveiled a fresh blue-and-white color scheme, following the success of their initial design.
The sneaker is a fusion of two signature styles: the AMIRI Skel Top-Low and Maison Mihara Yasuhiro’s Peterson OG. This design sports AMIRI’s iconic Nappa leather “Bones” appliqué, paired seamlessly with Mihara Yasuhiro’s unique clay-molded sole, all atop a sleek canvas upper. Co-branded labels are cleverly woven and embroidered on the tongue and heel, showcasing the collaboration.
For the campaign, Japanese rapper Jin Dogg takes the spotlight, continuing the narrative that began with their first release. The visuals are inspired by “Brother,” a film by Takeshi Kitano, capturing countercultural vibes as groups roam city streets blending elements of Los Angeles and Tokyo. Styled in AMIRI’s distinctive tailoring, the sneakers are front and center.
The second release maintains the monochromatic appeal and robust craftsmanship that fans loved in the first edition. With a focus on materials and a DIY ethos, the design sticks to its roots while showcasing new colors.
These limited-edition sneakers drop in the new blue-and-white alongside the original black-and-white. You can find them at select AMIRI and Maison Mihara Yasuhiro boutiques, and top retailers like Nordstrom, Vitkac, Jet, and Harrods.
