Audio brand Teenage Engineering has joined forces with Sean Ono Lennon to offer a fresh take on John Lennon’s 1973 LP “Mind Games.” This exciting collaboration features the famed OB–4 Bluetooth speaker, reimagined to host the original album, along with nine Meditation Mixes for a truly immersive experience. Adding to its allure are nine unique Mantras and an exclusive Metronome, allowing users to creatively manipulate the music’s atmosphere.
The OB-4 is known for its innovative functions such as rewind, loop, and fast-forward, enhancing creative possibilities. Sean expresses his excitement by stating, “The idea of gamifying the Mind Games album has manifested as an incredible limited edition speaker and radio that will allow you to modify this classic John Lennon album in ambient mode in a way that’s never been done. I truly can’t wait for people to try it!” John Lennon, a legendary figure in modern music, revolutionized rock with his experimental soundscapes and global classics.
This partnership echoes Teenage Engineering’s previous collaboration with designer Virgil Abloh, where the OB-4 Off-White edition was infused with the rhythms of traditional Ghanaian music. Much like that project, this one invites users to explore music interactively.
Mark your calendars for the release of the Mind Games OB–4, a limited edition available between October 9-31. You can cop yours through Teenage Engineering’s official site before they’re gone. For more updates, stay tuned to VZN.
