Lil Durk is switching things up for his next album. Instead of the expected Love Songs 4 The Streets 3, he’s going to release a brand new album called Deep Thoughts on October 18 through Alamo Records. This album is going to be different, and fans are really excited to see what he does next.
Durk has started promoting his new album in a big way. He released a video for his song “Monitoring Me,” showing him at his best. In the video, Durk talks about his crew and how tough they are, while also sending a message to anyone doubting him. He keeps some details secret because, as he says, someone is always listening.
It’s been a year since Almost Healed, where Durk talked a lot about going to therapy, staying sober, and growing as a person. But with Deep Thoughts, he’s ready to remind us where he came from, telling raw and real stories from his past. These stories are both sad and interesting, and he makes them powerful.
Even though Durk hasn’t put out a lot of new music since Almost Healed, he’s still been busy. He worked with Mustard and Young Thug on the song “Ghetto” and teamed up with fellow Chicago rapper Polo G for “We Uh Shoot.” Fans are getting more and more excited to see what’s next — and with Deep Thoughts, it looks like Durk is ready to show us a whole new side of his story.
