KITH consistently rolls out numerous collaborations annually. One of the brand’s most significant partnerships is with New Balance. The relationship began in 2011 with a special edition of the 574 for the opening of KITH’s first Manhattan store. This longstanding partnership is set to continue with new KITH x New Balance versions of the 990v4 and 1000.
These new sneakers, revealed by KITH founder Ronnie Fieg, are designed to complement KITH’s “101” line, which consists of seasonal essentials in mostly monochromatic colors. The 990v4 has been teased since September and has a history of being reworked by KITH, most notably in a reimagined version of the United Arrows x KITH x New Balance 997 collaboration. This latest design features various shades of tan and an off-white midsole, maintaining a monochromatic look.
The 1000 model is getting the KITH treatment for the first time, showcasing a light blue-grey color scheme with its own off-white midsole. Both models are crafted with a careful attention to detail, reflecting KITH’s reputation for high-quality and stylish collaborations. The subtle and refined color palettes are perfect for those who appreciate understated, yet fashionable footwear.
Although the release date for this duo of collaborations has not been officially announced, it is anticipated that they will be available in the coming weeks. For further updates, keep an eye on KITH’s website and social media channels.
