Following the early September launch of the Cecilie Bahnsen x ASICS GEL-TERRAIN, Danish designer Cecilie Bahnsen has given a sneak peek of her upcoming waterproof models set for a 2025 release. During Bahnsen’s Spring/Summer 2025 Paris runway presentation, models debuted two different pairs of ASICS that blend performance and Bahnsen’s signature delicate style.
The first model hits the runway in a silver colorway, adorned with modern floral prints that are both quilted and appliquéd onto the uppers. The addition of bungee laces offers both convenience and a tactical edge to the sleek design. The second model features a raincoat-like outer layer, secured with a zipper over the tongue, adding a functional yet stylish touch. This pair’s translucent upper reveals silver overlays and is entirely printed with glossy navy blue flowers. Both models include a sock collar to provide extra protection against the elements.
On the runway, the new ASICS pairs were showcased along with Bahnsen’s Spring/Summer 2025 collaboration with The North Face. This collection primarily focused on monochromatic shell outerwear featuring lustrous floral prints and scalloped hems. Reflecting her contemporary Danish roots, Bahnsen approached this season with a subtle touch, favoring restrained embellishments.
